Ingredients

  • 1 pound brussels sprouts cleaned, tough stem end removed, and halved
  • 2 garlic cloves cut into thin slices
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Add olive oil to large skillet over medium heat. Add brussels sprouts and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes per side, for a total of 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden on the outside and fork-tender.
  • Add garlic slices and cook for 1 to 2 minutes more, until garlic is golden and fragrant.
