15 Healthier Grab-and-Go Breakfast Options

These grab-and-go breakfasts are a delicious (and easy) way to start your day!

healthy breakfast ideas that aren't eggs

We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It not only gives us that first burst of energy to wake our bodies up, but it also gets our metabolism moving and fuels us until lunch. The problem is that many of us don’t have time for breakfast. If you’re like me, you’ll probably stay in bed until the last possible minute, only to grab breakfast as you fly out the door. Too often, there’s not even time for that, and I find myself running on a cup of coffee; not good.

Make your life easier by whipping up one of these grab-and-go breakfast options! They’re all healthy recipes made with clean ingredients, and most of them can be made the night before. Your body will thank you for giving it fuel, and you won’t experience that dreaded crash later in the day.

These burritos are packed with protein and veggies giving you a well-balanced meal. It doesn’t get much easier than that for a grab-and-go breakfast!

The perfect grab-and-go breakfast for dunking in coffee!

15. Pesto and Egg Breakfast Sandwich

Pesto is one of my favorite ingredients. It’s rich, creamy, and full of savory, garlicky flavor. I’ve been looking for more ways to incorporate it into my meals, so I was thrilled to try this breakfast sandwich! Plenty of protein, whole grains, and healthy fats make this grab-and-go breakfast perfect for a healthy morning meal.

Breakfast is as important as everyone says it is. Your body needs vitamins and nutrients as soon as it wakes up to know it’s time to get the day started. If you don’t give it what it needs, it won’t function at full capacity, leaving you tired and groggy. Think about it: You’ve been fasting the entire time you’ve been asleep. Of course, your body is craving something first thing in the morning!

It’s easy to get too busy and skip a meal or grab whatever you can, but take a few extra minutes to make yourself a healthy breakfast. It’s not easy at first, but it’s 100% worth it. Your body will thank you by functioning better and giving you more energy!
