Love your morning cup of Joe, but not all the refined sugar and creamers that usually comes with it? At SkinnyMs., we also love coffee, but we prefer it in the raw…with only unrefined, natural SkinnyLiciousness!

If you love the idea of a healthier coffee that doesn’t sacrifice taste, this coffee is for you. We’ve taken the traditional coffee flavor you love, but turned it into something your body will also love. Gone are the days of drinking a cup of coffee with high-fat dairy creamer or worse, those toxic powdered creamers. And no more refined sugar, either! Your coffee will taste delicious and sweet, but there’s no need to worry about the added calories and sludge that accompanies a few teaspoons of white powder.

This truly is one of the best cups of coffee you will ever taste. Skeptical because you are so accustomed to your traditional brew? Give it a try. Pair it with your favorite breakfast and expect to be surprised by the rich, creamy taste of our coffee in the raw.

Love a long, leisurely breakfast with a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning? Try this brew with our pumpkin French toast or crustless vegetable quiche.

  • Morning Joe in the Raw
  • 1 (8 ounce) cup favorite brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk (cow's milk, soy or almond will all work...we use organic low-fat cow's milk)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Coconut Palm Sugar , more or less to taste
  • Caramel Macchiato Coffee Option
  • 1 (8 ounce) cup favorite brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 3 teaspoons caramel sauce, more or less to taste (Caramel Sauce recipe)

  1. Make your morning cup of coffee as usual, we use Keurig One Cup Brewing System
  2. Combine milk and 2 teaspoons coconut palm sugar in a small saucepan, heat on medium-low just until it begins to steam...remove from heat.
  3. Use a battery operated Milk Frother for best results, and whip milk while in saucepan until thick and creamy. A hand held whisk will work if one isn't available, just takes a little longer to froth the milk. Pour coffee into your favorite mug, add milk, then froth and sprinkle with remaining coconut sugar.
  4. Directions for Caramel Macchiato: In a small saucepan add 2 teaspoons caramel sauce to milk, heat on medium-low just until it begins to steam and remove from heat. Use a Milk Frother and whip milk until thick and creamy. A hand held whisk will work if one isn't available, just may take a little longer. Add coffee to a mug, pour in milk and then top with froth, drizzle with remaining caramel sauce.

I used to be hooked on Starbucks Caramel Macchiatos. Now I drink 2 oz coffee concentrate (available at Whole Foods) with 10 oz milk and ginger juice (to taste, I've never measured) (available at Whole Foods or Asian markets). With the ginger, I don't miss the sugar at all, and ginger has lots of health benefits.

Toxic powdered creamer? I've taken up coffee again and wondered if it was coffee mate that was making my eczema flare up so bad…
