This yummy drink tastes similar to a mojito, but has no alcohol!

Forget sodas! You’ll love this non-alcoholic drink that tastes almost like a Mojito and super refreshing. Sparkling drinks are a great alternative to alcohol and soda. Sparkling Lime-Mint Quencher

This mojito inspired non-alcoholic drink is refreshing and kid-friendly!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves fresh, loosely packed
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup more to taste (stevia or agave nectar can be used as an alternative)
  • 2 cups sparkling seltzer water (NOT club soda or tonic water)
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Add the first 3 ingredients to a large glass, stir to combine. Add ice to 2 glasses, equally divide mixture between glasses and top each off with one cup sparkling seltzer water. Add a few half slices of lime to each glass, if desired.

    1. Hi Pete, muddling the mint in the lime juice is not necessary. However, you can use this method if you choose too. Often, over crushing the leaves can cause them to release a bitter taste. Sometimes it’s best to use a simple method for the best flavor!

  1. Why not club soda like an alcoholic Mojito? I thought there were no carbs in club soda.

    1. Club Soda contains other minerals which can alter the taste. Seltzer water has a much more pure water taste and will not affect the flavor of the quencher.
