When I need something quick, fresh, and satisfying, this apple crunch salad is one of my go-to recipes. It’s got everything I love in a salad—sweet, crisp apples, crunchy nuts, healthy veggies, and a light homemade vinaigrette that pulls it all together. Best part? It takes just 10 minutes to toss together.

Whether I’m serving it as a light lunch, a healthy side dish, or a quick weeknight dinner add-on, this salad always hits the spot. Plus, it’s a great way to use up those crisp fall apples (although let’s be honest—I make this one year-round).

What’s in This Crunchy Apple Salad?

Ingredients laid out on flat surface

The ingredients are simple, wholesome, and easy to mix and match based on what you have on hand. Here’s what I usually use:

  • Crisp apples – Honeycrisp and Fuji are my favorites, but any crunchy apple works great
  • Mixed greens or baby spinach – A neutral base that lets the apples shine
  • Chopped nuts – Walnuts or pecans add a satisfying crunch
  • Pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds – Optional, but I love the added texture.
  • Cranberries or raisins – For a touch of natural sweetness.
  • Goat cheese or feta – Also optional, but the creamy tanginess balances the sweet apples perfectly.
  • Homemade dressing – Usually a mix of apple cider vinegar and mayo.
