This workout is for those of us who have experience working out, but aren’t satisfied with the results. If you’ve always thought that a great body was out of your grasp because you just aren’t sure what exercises are best for transforming your body, that’s about to change. Remember to make cardio a part of your workout routine and do so at least 3 times a week, in addition to this routine. Now, get ready for your hard work to pay off with these 6 great moves for an excellent, unique total body workout!
Equipment Needed: water for hydration and a set of heavy dumbbells (15-20 lbs)
What to Do: Perform the workout 3-4 times weekly for optimal results on alternating days. See the videos below for demonstrations to ensure you are using proper form.
1. Side Plank with Reach Through Twist – 2 sets of 8 reps on each side
2. Kneeling Side Kicks – 2 sets of 12 reps on each side
3. Squat to Front Raise – 2 sets of 15 reps
4. Scissors – 2 sets of 8 reps (1 rep is both legs coming up)
5. Shoulder Press – 2 sets of 12 reps
6. Single Leg Romanian Dead Lift – 2 sets of 10 reps
