Kefir is a lot like liquid yogurt drinks. It's typically made with cows milk and fermented like yogurt, with probiotic cultures, i.e. healthy bacteria. It's good for digestion and your intestinal tract, like yogurt. It's more popular than yogurt in places like Russia.
