Applying makeup is a daily ritual in many peoples’ lives. Naturally removing it is equally important, whether you use only a light tinted moisturizer, or a full application of foundation and waterproof mascara. Without adding unnecessary chemicals that will dry out your skin, this DIY makeup remover will purify and moisturize your skin while removing makeup.

Key Ingredients and How They Work:

Witch Hazel – Witch Hazel is an organic astringent and will help to tighten your pores and remove excess oils from your skin.

Distilled Water – Since tap water may contain bacteria or minerals from your pipes, use distilled water to obtain the benefits of the purest form of water. It has amazing detoxification properties which will aid in cleansing skin cells. You can purchase distilled water at your local grocery store.

Almond Oil – From providing UV ray protection from the sun, rejuvenating the skin, and moisturizing your complexion, almond oil is an essential for skin restoration.

What to Do:

1. Combine 3 tablespoons of each ingredient into a small bowl or cup.

2. Mix thoroughly.

3. Grab cottons balls or cotton wipes and place them in a jar.

4. Pour the liquid mix into the jar until the pads are moist.

5. As needed remove the balls/wipes and wipe your face and neck to remove makeup.

NOTE: DIY Makeup Remover is designed for skin only and should be avoided on the eye area.
