Easy At-Home Cold Brew

Enjoy a smooth cold brew at home with out the cost of a coffee shop.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole coffee beans
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoon almond milk optional

Instructions

  • Coarsely grind the coffee beans by pulsing the beans in a grinder.
  • Place the beans in a 5 to 6 cup beverage container. Pour the cold water over top. Gently stir to ensure the beans are appropriately saturated with water. Cover and refrigerate overnight, no more than 12 hours.
  • Line a strainer with cheese cloth and pour the chilled mixture into the lined strainer over a bowl or beverage container. If needed, transfer to a storage container, the cold brew can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Pour the cold brew into a drinking cup, add any desired milk, water, or sweetener to personal preference.

Notes

Nutrition was calculated using one tablespoon of almond milk. If you don't add it, the nutritional info would be  o calories, 12 mg of sodium, and 7 mg calcium.
