In order to stay fit it’s important to mix up your workouts, which can be as simple as changing the scenery. The days are getting nicer, and the sun is shinning. What better way to switch up your workout than to take it outside for some Fun in the Sun?! Working out outside allows you to use equipment you may not have the space or room for indoors, and it’s a whole lot of fun. Here is a circuit that will keep your heart rate up and give you a total body workout unlike any other.
Equipment Needed: You’ll need to have access to sand bags, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, and jump rope. You should also have water for hydration, a heart monitor, and an interval timer.
What to Do: Perform each exercise for the amount of time or reps provided. Be sure to check out the helpful videos below to ensure that you are using correct form.
Exercises:
1. Jump rope – 1 minute
2. Sand bag – Staggered squat to Press – Repeat 7 times with each leg staggered.
3. Jump rope – 1 minute
4. Medicine ball – Russian Twist – 1 minute
5. Jump rope – 1 minute
6. Dumbbells – Bent Over Rows – 15 reps on each side.
7. Jump rope – 1 minute
8. Kettlebells – Get Up Plank – 15 reps on each side.
9. Jump rope – 1 minute
