  • 1 frozen banana, pre-slice before freezing
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, fat-free
  • Ginger Root, 1/4" of a knuckle (knuckle = length of finger joint)
  • 1 cup pure pomegranate juice, no added sugar
  • 4-5 ice cubes


  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.

    Just made this smoothie and it was absolutely delicious! I love adding ginger to all my meals and smoothies because of the natural anti inflammatory properties!

    This has 28g of sugar! Any way to lessen that in this smoothie?

      Sharon, As you see there is no added sugar, it’s naturally occurring. Try drinking only half a serving.
