Snack time just got healthy with these spicy, crunchy potato bites!

Think of your favorite potato recipes. Baked potatoes. Mashed potatoes. Tater tots. They all have one thing in common: they’re classic comfort food. But what if we moved beyond comfort and let the creamy, mellow potato become the starting point for a much richer and more inventive taste experience? These Potatoes With Sesame Seeds, Rosemary, and Paprika offer a bold layering of flavors and a crunchy texture that will feel gourmet. Serve them as an appetizer, at a cocktail party, or to friends and family while watching the game. Your guests will be wowed by the unique flavor, and they won’t believe how simple these little snacks are to make!

The steps to making these potatoes are easy. Simple peel and boil your baby potatoes, and then roll in sesame seeds. Heat them in oil with rosemary and paprika, and you’re done! And while this recipe may seem straight-forward, the bold flavor of paprika, paired with the earthy goodness of rosemary, and the crunch of sesame seeds, will make this snack seem anything but ordinary.

Plus, these little bites are healthy, too! Instead of frying these potatoes in animal fat, butter, or peanut oil, you’ll simply sautee them in extra virgin olive oil. This oil contains the healthiest of fats, and because you’ll be sauteeing, you won’t be completely saturating your potatoes in fat and calories. Sesame seeds are rich in protein and fiber, and paprika contains vitamins A, E, and iron, making it a spice that not only enhances flavor, but contributes to the health profile of your dish as well. Rosemary has anti-inflammatory properties and improves circulation, making it no slouch when it comes to nutrition. Add potatoes for a dose of vitamin B6, potassium, and vitamin C, and you have a few very tasty bites that pack a powerfully healthy punch!
