          1. I made it with the sliced turkey breast fillets and it turned out great. Not dry at all. It did cook in about 3 hrs but it also was a total of about 2.3 lbs insread of 2.5.

  1. Your picture shows the skin on the turkey – your recipe says take the skin off – how can you get it browned without the skin??

  2. Hi! For a larger turkey breast (5 lbs), would I just double the cooking time? Or would that be too long? Thanks!

    1. Amanda, If the turkey fits in your slow cooker, you will need to cook it 1-2 hours longer. Be sure to check for doneness with the steps indicated in the recipe.

    1. Chelsea, Yes, you have to thaw the turkey in the fridge until totally defrosted before using here. Thanks for checking:).

    1. Reanna, We haven’t tried turkey tenderloin but it should work fine. Adjust the cooking time accordingly. 🙂

  3. Thisnisnprobably a dumb question, but do you put the plate in the slow cooker? I don’t know why you’d bother to dirty a plate otherwise???

    1. You do not put the plate in the slow cooker. Once the chicken is prepped, add it to the slow cooker. 🙂
