A healthy, 10-minute lunch time option.
If you’re looking for a high-protein, high-fiber wrap that’s quick and easy to make, look no further than these Spicy Sriracha Tuna Wraps! Made with just a few simple ingredients, they’re perfect for meal prep or a quick lunch on the go. Not to mention, they’re high in protein, fiber, and omega-3s, which are all important nutrients to keep you healthy and energized.
Nutrient-Packed Wraps
Tuna is a great source of protein, and these wraps also pack in the fiber with whole wheat tortillas and plenty of veggies. The sriracha adds a little spice, but you can always adjust the amount to taste. If you’re not a fan of tuna, feel free to substitute your favorite protein – chicken would also be great in these wraps.
What is Sriracha?
If you haven’t tried sriracha, pronounced (sir-rotch-ah), it’s a type of chili sauce that originates from Thailand. It’s made from sun-ripened chilies, garlic, vinegar, sugar, and salt, and has a slightly sweet, sour, and spicy flavor. Sriracha is often used as a condiment or dipping sauce, but it also adds a great flavor to these wraps.
Super Easy Meal Prep
This recipe comes together in just a few minutes, making it perfect for meal prep. Simply make the wraps ahead of time and store them in the fridge for grab-and-go lunches during the week. If you’re short on time, you can even use pre-made tuna salad from the grocery store. Just be sure to double-check the ingredients list to make sure it doesn’t have any unwanted add-ins like mayo or extra salt.
How to Make These Sriracha Tuna Wraps
These wraps can be made in just two simple steps! First, mix the tuna, celery, onion, mayo, greek yogurt, and sriracha in a large bowl, making sure to combine everything well. Then, assemble the wraps by layering the lettuce, tuna mixture, and tomatoes. Roll tightly, slice in half, and enjoy!
You can even make these ahead of time and store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
