A protein-packed, creamy, scrumptious treat!

It’s no secret that smoothies are one of our favorite ways to start the day. First of all, they’re easy. Combine your favorite fruits in a blender, add your choice of nut milk along with some Greek yogurt, and add flavoring components and nutritional additions such as honey or whey protein, and you’ve got a breakfast in a glass that beats out most breakfast dishes from a nutritional standpoint, and a taste perspective as well!

Everyone loves a banana split. Especially in summer, that creamy, dreamy, fruity ice cream treat from childhood stays in our heads until we satisfy our craving! SkinnyMs. has devised a healthy smoothie recipe that will ease your craving without packing on the extra fat, calories and sugar. Greek yogurt and almond milk, when chilled and blended, are a creamy substitute for ice cream that loses the fat and calories, but provides a whopping dose of lean protein. Almonds and protein powder elevate the protein quotient, and strawberries and bananas provide all of the fiber, potassium, and antioxidants your body needs to get through a busy morning. Simply blend these ingredients together with ice, and you have a treat that can pass for a banana split in terms of flavor, but powers your body for hours without packing on the pounds.

So fire up your blender and get ready for dessert for breakfast! Your brain won’t know you’re eating clean, but your body will!
