Our Crispy Topping

Bring this delicious appetizer to your next get together!

The recipe includes a delectable and homemade topping that is unique from the rest! We use Panko crumbs for a light crunch as well as parmesan for a deep and rich flavor. Adding Parmesan helps keep the crispy topping together and adds more cheesy goodness! We also use a pleasant savory herb blend of rosemary, parsley, basil, and even dill. The red chili adds a hot and spicy kick, while the lemon juice breaks the rich flavors with light acidity. Together our blend gives you a harmony of flavors that is unique and delightful. Topped with balsamic vinegar, these mushroom bites are sure to please! (bonus: balsamic vinegar is packed with antioxidants and probiotics!)

  1. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because I found some of the directions vague. And it seemed a little too salty (with the parmesan cheese) so I would reduce the salt next time. But they were very delicious and easy to make. I questioned the amounts of the dried herbs…1 Tablespoon of each seemed like too much so I used just a teaspoon of each. And I did not know what a “brown mushroom” was. I used 12 good sized baby bellas and had cheese and topping left over. Were they supposed to be the full sized portabellas?4 stars
