I love chick peas, black beans, etc.and have lost weight in the past eating recipes filled with beans, but they really affect my stomach. Is there anything I can do to still eat these recipes, but alleviate the stomach issues?
Heather, Try avoiding potatoes when eating beans as the two combined can mess with digestion. Also, avoid eating foods high in sugar, including fruit, 2 hours before consuming beans. Hope this helps.
