High Protein Appetizer

Doesn't this bean dip make your mouth water?

We used black beans in this vegetarian dip, not only because they are a staple in Mexican cuisine, but also because they provide lots of healthy nutrients. Fiber, iron, and protein are the three main players when it comes to black bean nutrition. Combining them with some non-fat Greek yogurt, which is high in protein, calcium, and vitamin D, ensures that this recipe is the perfect low-fat, low-carb dip for any occasion. The addition of lime juice and Mexican spices elevates the flavor profile further, without tacking on a bunch of excess calories. Once you serve this healthy appetizer, watch and wait for the smiles to spread. Your guests will love the flavor of this bean dip and will be shocked at how healthy it is!
