Apples and Peanut Butter: The Perfect Pair

There's no better combo than apple and peanut butter!

Combining apples with peanut butter makes for an awesome snack because it mixes healthy antioxidant vitamins and fiber with nutritious fats and protein. Apples are known to be a super fruit with its long list of nutritional benefits, from immune function to energy boosts, and even healthy teeth! It’s always a good idea to pair fruit with a healthy fat or protein to build out your snack and keep you fuller for longer. Peanut butter does just that! It is packed with great vitamins and minerals as well, making it a perfect addition to this healthy treat.

For our recipe, we stuck with natural peanut butter that doesn’t have any additives like sugar and oils. Instead, natural peanut butter is just crushed peanuts (and maybe some salt) for a healthy, simple, and whole ingredient.
