7 Dinners to Prepare in Under 30 Minutes

A busy schedule doesn't have to mean take-out. These homemade dinners are quick!

Between rushing home from work, shuttling the kids around to activities and catching up on housework, where’s the time for a wholesome dinner? With these seven easy dinner recipes, you’ll be able to squeeze it in somewhere between laundry and walking the dog.

Eating clean doesn’t have to take hours of meal preparation. With a little advance planning and a weekly or bi-weekly shopping trip, you’ll get into the groove of cooking light, nutritious dinners that don’t take all night. Once you’ve mastered a few basic recipes, you’ll get comfortable improvising with the ingredients you have on hand. We recommend keeping a stockpile of a few versatile ingredients, like frozen chicken breasts, quinoa, spinach, tomatoes, Greek yogurt and extra virgin olive oil.

Try these seven recipes for a week full of quick and easy dinners. Some of them can be made ahead and popped in the oven as needed. Others cut down on dish duty, coming together in a single pot. Bon Appétit!

1. Quinoa and Skillet Supper
Superfoods quinoa and artichokes come together in this delicious skillet dinner. The whole dish is made in a single skillet, making cleanup a snap.

2. Skinny Burrito Bowls
Now, you can enjoy all of your favorite Southwestern ingredients without the added calories that come from the usual tortilla accompaniments.

3. Honey Dijon Glazed Salmon with a Hint of Lemon
