Enjoy this appetizer at a dinner party or when you're in the mood for a healthy snack.
These Avocado Wontons make a great Asian-fusion treat. They’re baked instead of fried, and stuffed with an avocado and Asian coleslaw mix, leaving them crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Enjoy as an appetizer at a dinner party or just when you’re in the mood for an Asian-inspired snack. They would be fantastic dipped in Creamy Avocado Dip!
- 1 avocado large
- 1/4 cup shredded coleslaw veggie mix
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon cilantro chopped
- 12 wonton wrappers
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mash together the avocado, coleslaw, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and cilantro. Scoop about 1 tablespoon into each wonton wrapper. Dip your finger in water and run along the edges of the wrapper, then fold over on the diagonal and pinch together.
- Place wontons on an aluminum lined baking sheet. Bake them 8 to 10 minutes, then flip over and bake another 8 to 10 minutes. Dip in soy sauce or eat them plain!
