The Powerful Ingredients Involved
Our savory smoothies contain a powerful set of nutrient-rich ingredients, packing vitamins and minerals into every sip. First, blueberries are packed full of antioxidants, which can protect your body from disease-causing compounds and boost the immune system. Meanwhile, they also carry a significant amount of fiber and very few calories, so they’re a wonderful weight-loss food to add to your diet!
Then there are the bananas, which contribute to the smoothie’s sweet flavor and creamy, melt-in-your-mouth consistency. These scrumptious yellow fruits also aid in digestion and hook you up with lasting energy. Finally, this superfood contains a great source of potassium for heart health and manganese for your skin.
You’ll Get Your Greens with Each Sip!
Let’s not ignore our favorite leafy vegetable: spinach! You’ll barely taste the spinach in these tasty blueberry banana smoothies, but they pack a powerful nutrition punch! These magnificent greens contain folate and omega-3 fatty acids, along with energy-boosting iron.
Meanwhile, spinach is also an excellent source of chlorophyll and carotenoids. These compounds carry amazing anti-inflammatory and anti-cancerous properties. Popeye certainly had it right by loading up on this powerhouse veggie!
Our Smoothies are Nutritious and Well-Balanced
When these potent superfoods team up with protein-rich tofu, it creates a superb smoothie! As an added bonus, this delicious drink clocks in at just 6 grams of fat with zero trans fats. That makes this blueberry banana smoothie recipe simple to make, ultra-delicious, and waistline-friendly. A triple threat!

This is my favorite!! I love the blueberry boost mixed with the spinach for protein. Have one every morning!!!
How many oz of tofu is that? There are several different sizes of tofu at my grocery store and I don't want to over do it.
Love this for a weekday breakfast.
