Help your kids build healthy habits.

5. Opt for lean protein.
Chicken, turkey, and eggs are tasty sandwich ingredients, and don’t contain the unhealthy fats that salami and bologna have. Try an Avocado Egg Salad Sandwich or No-Mayo Chicken Salad for a protein-packed lunch.
6. Include at least one veggie.
Vegetables are important–they’re high in fiber and have tons of vitamins and minerals. Plus, there are so many to choose from that you’ll be sure to find at least one your child will like. Make a salad for lunch or include sliced veggies as a snack. You could make a vegetarian sandwich, such as our Veggie Club Sandwich, or even sneak veggies into one, like in our Chicken Burrito Wraps.
7. Swap out soda and juices.
Soda, including diet, and fruit juices are loaded with sugar. Cut your child’s calorie intake by packing water, club soda, or a homemade drink. Our Iced Sencha Tea with Peaches and Lime, and Ginger, Lime, and Mint-Flavored Sparkling Water are delicious, and have no refined sugar.
