How to Make Your Cinnamon Toast Crispy

When making your crispy cinnamon sugar toast, we want to make sure that the crispy part doesn’t get lost. Figuring out how to get the perfect end result will be worth it when you get to enjoy each crispy square.

First, you will combine your room-temperature butter, vanilla, coconut sugar, and cinnamon. Making sure the butter isn’t melted or straight from the fridge will be what keeps the slice of bread firm so it doesn’t turn into soggy bread or tear due to the butter being too stiff.

Next, you will spread the butter mixture onto each slice of bread and then lay them flat on a cookie sheet.

You are looking for a golden brown, but not burnt. You don’t have to worry about preheating the oven, as you will only need to use the broiler for 2-3 minutes.

Keep the oven door slightly ajar so that you can keep an eye on your cinnamon sugar toast. This is a recipe that even a few extra minutes can be too much, and you end up with burnt toast instead of delicious cinnamony goodness!

Can You Store Cinnamon Toast?

Unlike a lot of our recipes, when it comes to this crispy cinnamon toast, the best way to enjoy it is fresh out of the oven. Since it is so easy to make and only takes 2 to 3 minutes to cook, you can enjoy it any time without needing a lot of prep time.

However, if you try to store and reheat it later, you aren’t going to get the same crunch factor that you will get when served fresh.
