This tasty slow cooker Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken is so simple to prepare. Anyone can make it! In just a few simple steps and a couple hours of cook time, this delectable recipe will be ready to enjoy.
You’ll start by placing the boneless and skinless chicken breasts in the slow cooker. In a separate bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, jalapeno, and garlic and mix well. Pour this flavorful sauce over the chicken and add the red onion and pineapple chunks to the Crockpot. Set the slow cooker on high for two to three hours, or you can cook the chicken on low for five to six hours.
Once the time is up, remove the chicken from the Crockpot and shred it with two forks. Put the shredded chicken back into the slow cooker and cook it on low for 15 minutes. This will give the chicken time to soak up all of that yummy sauce!
