Meant to restore acid-alkaline and sodium-potassium balance to the body’s organs and glands, this recipe was adapted from the book, Hungry for Change.

Veggie Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water, spring, filtered or distilled
  • 3 zucchini, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 carrot, finely diced
  • 1 cup chopped green string beans
  • 1 large bunch of fresh parsley, stems and leaves roughly chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons dried organo
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chopped kale

Directions

Add all ingredients, except kale, to a medium pot, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes, or until carrots are tender. Add kale and simmer just until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

Serves 3 (1 Serving Per Night During the Detox)
