Veggie Soup

Meant to restore acid-alkaline and sodium-potassium balance to the body’s organs and glands, this recipe was adapted from the book, Hungry for Change.

Ingredients
- 4 cups water, spring, filtered or distilled
- 3 zucchini, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 1 carrot, finely diced
- 1 cup chopped green string beans
- 1 large bunch of fresh parsley, stems and leaves roughly chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Sea salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons dried organo
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chopped kale
Directions
Add all ingredients, except kale, to a medium pot, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes, or until carrots are tender. Add kale and simmer just until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
Serves 3 (1 Serving Per Night During the Detox)
