15 Plant-Based Breakfast Recipes

These breakfasts are filled with plant-based protein to get your day started right.

There are so many breakfast recipes out there that focus on eggs and dairy. Even if eggs aren’t the main star, too many recipes sneak an egg or two into their ingredients list (I’m looking at you, pancakes). And then there are the recipes that use a splash of milk, top their dishes with cheese, or use cream cheese and yogurt. That can be so frustrating to plant-based eaters because all of those ingredients are a no-go for you. So, we wanted to collect our top-rated plant-based breakfast recipes to make it easier for you to find delicious, healthy, filling breakfasts.

  1. The strawberry rhubarb buckwheat bars (#12) is not plant based. There shouldn’t be butter and eggs in a plant based recipe.

  2. Breakfast is always the hardest for me! I usually just end up toasting a bagel with some hummus (sometimes I can’t even toast it…) Thank you for the wonderful ideas.
